I learned a great deal about several amino acids that CAN and DO help address anxiety issues.
“I have listened to several of Trudy's interviews during her Anxiety Summits and just love her way of explaining nutrition and anxiety concepts.
I simply loved being a student in Trudy's class. My favorite part was Trudy's true desire to help each of us perform a trial of amino acids to see how we reacted. I learned a great deal about several amino acids that CAN and DO help address anxiety issues.
Trudy is a gem in a world of confusing information - she presents truly valuable, workable trials in plain language, that can help lower anxiety.”

My mood has lifted tremendously ...tryptophan is my new best friend...
“Consistently taking tryptophan for the last month and a half has been life-changing. My mood has lifted tremendously. It is night and day from where it was. It has been like a miracle pill for me. Positively ecstatic about the mood lift. That has been the greatest benefit, by far. No words can express my gratitude for that. Also, just remembered, after taking tryptophan consistently, I went to the gym and walked on the treadmill for 4 miles!!! That was something I hadn't done for at least a year. That was huge, for me.
I can't begin to thank you enough for your time and attention you gave me during this last 7 weeks. Even though I have a LONG way to go, you have helped me tremendously. Tryptophan is my new best friend and I will make sure I don't leave home without it. It has lifted my spirits and given me great hope. It might not sound like it, but I have come a long way from where I was last May. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!”

I'm ... seeing how gluten, alcohol and sugar really change my mood and anxiety/depression levels
“This class was extremely helpful for me personally and professionally. I was intimidated with amino acids and Trudy's class improved my understanding and confidence. In addition to her well organized class materials and information, she also shared personal experiences which made me feel like I wasn't the only person with anxiety issues and there is a solution to managing anxiety.
I'm also seeing how gluten, alcohol and sugar really change my mood and anxiety/depression levels. I am very conscious of the consequences for me personally if I choose to eat/drink any of these. Before, I knew it was not good for me or anyone, now I know what happens with anxiety and brain function, in addition to the digestive and weight issues.”

I never knew that low blood sugar can mimic/bring on panic attacks.
“The biggie for me was balancing my blood sugar. I never knew that low blood sugar can mimic/bring on panic attacks. This was a huge positive development for me.
Finding you through Aimee Serafini's Love Yourself Love Your Life was a God send for me. I needed to understand what was driving my panic/anxiety attacks as they were crippling my life.
This course was amazing! It is the best online course I have ever done! I learnt so much in our time together. The level of information and support we all received was way beyond what I expected. Trudy you are an amazing giving soul and I can't thank you enough for everything you have done for me and everyone in the group - I look forward to continuing my journey with you in reclaiming my health :-)”

I have so much more confidence in my abilities now, I'm not even the same person I used to be
“I accidentally took the Pyroluria Questionnaire after looking for answers for my son. And was SHOCKED to find I answered YES to nearly all the questions! It sure explained a lot, like my chronic anemia for example! I am still learning the protocol but was able to easily see how relaxed I was after meeting a new family that would have really stretched me out. I’m now starting to teach online classes with video and although there are a few hiccups, I have so much more confidence in my abilities now. I simply was thinking yesterday how I'm not even the same person I used to be! Amazing! Thank you Trudy!”

I'm moving forward. I'm feeling less anxious; my mind is more clear; my confidence is up
“After two weeks...
- I’m able to start driving again. Local, not freeway, but it's a start.
- I'm calmer. I'm more willing to do things that I haven't done in years.
- It "manages my mind" and it's like a magic powder and creates a "Zen" effect
- I can honestly say, I'm moving forward. I'm feeling less anxious; my mind is more clear; my confidence is up; my husband notices when I'm on the aminos (and when I'm not) ha!
- Thanks to you - I feel hopeful.

I'm usually very anxious while getting the kids off to school, but this morning I was Sooo much calmer
“Wow, I've just taken a dose of Glutamine this morning and I feel great. My mood has gone from 7-4 and my anxiety has gone from 8-5 [on a scale of 1 to 10 , with being worst] . In the mornings I'm usually very anxious while getting the kids off to school, but this morning I was Sooo much calmer, my husband even commented. I think I could up the dose a little because now that I have started to think about what I have to do for the day I am feeling my anxiety coming back a little.”

I feel relief that I'm figuring this out, relief that I'm not the only one, that there's hope
“I feel relief that I'm figuring this out, relief that I'm not the only one, that there's hope and health, that there are answers, there are people who care. Relief that all the searching, researching and studying I do was/is not "crazy"!!”

I highly recommend Trudy’s amino acid group programs for health professionals and life coaches
“Trudy's 'Amazing Aminos for Anxiety' course has been such a help to many of my clients. So many people struggle with anxiety and stress, stress eat, have panic attacks and feel depressed. Many times the neurotransmitters can be the problem or part of the problem and the amino acids offer a solution.
I interviewed Trudy on my "Love Myself Love My Life" summit and asked her to create a group program for my tribe and I am so pleased she did!
I highly recommend Trudy’s amino acid group programs (both this one, the 'Amazing Aminos for Anxiety' and the 'Amazing Aminos for Emotional Eating’) for health professionals and life coaches so they can be of best service to their clients and have these amazing resources in their toolbox. I would not be without them!
I went through the one of the courses myself to be able to be of better assistance to my clients. They help women eliminate feelings of anxiety and depression, panic attacks and social anxiety (pyroluria). And not only can they assist with emotional eating but I also saw women release addictions, stop binge eating and have more energy to exercise.
Trudy is EXTREMELY knowledgable and seems to have answers for everything.”

Frequently asked questions
-
Q1. Do the amino acids work for everyone?
A. Not everyone responds the same way and not everyone needs amino acids but the majority of my clients love them (or some of them). You will know within several days if any one amino acid isn't going to work for you, so there is no waiting months to see if they will work.
-
Q2. Can I go through the training at a quicker pace than 8 weeks?
The training has been structured to teach you about a new amino acid/brain chemical imbalance each week and it is recommended that you do it at this pace.
-
Q3. Can I go through the training in a different sequence?
The training has been designed in this sequence based on my work with one on one clients. But since we are all biochemically unique and may not have a need for all the amino acids you may decide to skip one of the weeks if it doesn’t apply to you.
-
Q4. I am pregnant/I am nursing – can I use amino acids?
The amino acids have not been studied during pregnancy or nursing so they can’t be recommended. If you decide to purchase any of the programs you could use them as learning material for when you are no longer pregnant or nursing.
-
Q5. I have been prescribed the antidepressant Zoloft [or one of the other SSRIs such as Paxil, Celexa, Lexapro, Prozac etc]. Can I use the amino acids?
If you take an SSRI then tryptophan and/or 5-HTP should only be taken under a doctor’s supervision and then at least 6 hours from the SSRI. When on medications, you always want to discuss amino acids and other supplements with your prescribing doctor. The low serotonin class is one of 5 classes in the program. All the other classes will be no problem when on an SSRI.
-
Q6. How is this different from working one-on-one with Trudy?
It models working one-on-one with me. I use the same methods I use with my one-on-one clients. You get the benefits of it being a group program and it’s also more affordable. Also my practice in currently full and I have a waiting list for working with me one-on-one so right now this program is the only option for working with me.
-
Q7. I can’t commit to this program right now and would like to know when it will be offered again.
The Basic Homestudy #1 and Plus Homestudy #2 will continue to be offered. The Premium Homestudy #3 runs for 8 weeks and won’t be offered again until sometime in 2019.
