I was so excited to listen to the summit this morning, but every URL I click on, or try to copy and paste for anything to do with the anxiety summit, will not load! 🙁 I’ve been trying for over an hour, but I keep getting the message “Error establishing a database connection” every time I try to get onto the anxiety summit page. Even if I just try getting onto the general website for the anxiety summit, or typing the anxiety summit into google, I tried different web browsers, but I keep getting the same message… 🙁 Is there something wrong with the website? Are there too many people watching the summit? I am very sad that I cannot access this summit after signing up weeks ago, and can’t access any pages of the summit.

Our apologies! We woke to find the database is down and are working with our hosting company to get it resolved. We were hoping to be up by the 9am PST planned start time but no luck yet! Stay tuned…
You’ll see an email from us when it’s resolved and we’ll make sure to make up for any missed interviews
Trudy Scott says
It’s all back! server issues due to too many people – our apologies. We’ll be making these interviews available later in the summit

I also can not access Maskel and two other speakers even though you say it is fixed. disapointed

Could you please clarify the issue you’re having and we’d be happy to help. The links to the speaker blogs are working if that’s what you’re asking
Lorraine says
Trudy, I pre-purchased the audio tapes, but would love the transcripts. Can I change my order to include them somehow? The talks have so much great information in them, and I can retain info better when I see it. I’m also sharing much of the info with my psychiatrist husband who is loving all this new knowledge, too. Thanks so much, Trudy!
Trudy Scott says
Lorraine
Absolutely – please email support@everywomanover29.com and we’ll get you the link to upgrade. I’m a reader myself!
I love hearing that you’re sharing this with your psychiatrist husband – wonderful!
Caroline says
I’m not able to use your email to click on any live link. It is too frustrating to keep trying every way I can. I hate to be a downer but your website needs major work.
Trudy Scott says
Caroline
Sorry to hear! please copy the link into your browser and try that or email support@everywomanover29.com and we’ll try and help. By the way it’s the SAME link everyday. And other than Monday there have been no issues with the site.
No downers allowed – only kidding 🙂

FYI Trudy, some speaker blogs links not working again, cannot access Ron and Jay’s blog posts, have refreshed the page several times but no luck. The ones that work are in blue, the ones that don’t are black. Despite Ron and Jay’s interviews having aired, can’t access their speaker blogs. Will keep trying. Thanks…
Trudy Scott says
Sorry Drew, the site was misbehaving last night but all is now well. Hopefully you got to listen to them – if not they’ll ALL be up on encore day on June 16th
Drew Todd says
Thanks Trudy. I still can’t access certain speaker blogs at https://www.everywomanover29.com/…/anxiety-summit…/ We have tried on several different PC’s and tablets but all the same issue. Some speaker links are blue and can be accessed, some are black and can’t. Am missing reading them but not sure what the problem is?
Trudy Scott says
Drew – this link isn’t working either and it’s best to send these type of issues to support@everywomanover29.com with a screen shot if you can as it’s not clear what the issue is – thanks
Trudy Scott says
It’s now fixed – apologies!
Drew Todd says
Great – thanks! 🙂

Trudy,
Thanks for including Ron Sturtz, owner of Lidtke, in the Anxiety Summit. Quality is such an important topic when it comes to supplements, especially Tryptophan. I loved hearing about the history and how Lidtke supplements are manufactured. I trust them even more now! And the chewables, wow what a great find! Great job on the summit Trudy!

Micki
Thanks for the feedback – this is why I invited Ron to participate! quality is BIG in all instances but especially the case with tryptophan.
Glad you enjoyed the history – I found it fascinating too

Hi Trudy, I loved all the anxiety summit talks that I bought them for future reference. I have suffered from social anxiety disorder, panick attacks, depression & addiction issues through trying to self medicate all my life. After being diagnosed with sciatica I was put on pain meds & after being on them for years I feel it’s so difficult to get off them. I am sure I have inflammatory problems along with a leaky gut. No doubt the opiate meds have influenced my neuro chemical balance making me deficient in certain ones like serotonin as I try to taper off. Although I am learning so much I really feel I could do with the support of a functional medicine practitioner who specialises in addiction. I live in England & have tried to find someone but have found it extremely difficult. I don’t think there are as many in England as there are in the US.
I would be so grateful if you could point me in the direction of a good practitioner. Trying to put all the information together & figure it out just feels so overwhelming. Having some support from someone with expert knowledge would be wonderful.

I don’t have a referral for an addiction specialist in the UK. I would try and find a nutritionist to get you started. And check out Patrick Holford and his training/books/offerings.

Hi Trudy,
I wish I could get on a plane and come to consult with you.
Do you do private sessions on skype/phone?
Alternatively, is there anyone you could recommend in Israel who follows your protocol.
I just loved hearing every word of yours and than you for an educational and inspiring summit.
I just want to get healthy and feel good
Thanks,
Yael

Dear Trudy,
I write to you before but I’m not sure whether I managed to send it successfully so please forgive me if this is a repeat.
Firstly, I want to thank you for your amazing summit – so informative and gave me hope that there is a safe way.
I have many medical challenges, but recently it has been the addition of 2 mg clonazepam for my anxiety and to help me sleep, after suffering from severe insomnia, although already taking sleeping pill (zolidem) for years. Big mistake!
I know it is a long and gradual and very excruciating experience but that it can be done. A also DO NOT want to begin antidepressants.
I was vert interested in your recommendation of tryptophan but I realize that it could interact with benzos. Am I allowed to introduce it while tapering or only when I am completely free (although how will that ever happen without help)?
I would greatly appreciate your advice.
Regards,
Yael

So glad you enjoyed it! Tryptophan does not interact with benzodiazepines. It does have the potential to cause serotonin syndrome with SSRIs.
GABA is also fine to use with benzos and is often very helpful too
PS good to hear from an ex-SA!

Hi Trudy
Thank you so much for all the work you have done to help us who suffer from anxiety. I have found the anxiety summit wonderful … such a wealth of information. But in particular I love listening to you as you have such a warm manner and are such a clear communicator. As an interviewer, I love the way you recap and summaries what the presenter is talking about after each section.
I am your Level 3 anxiety sufferer. I have made all the dietary changes and am on all sorts of supplements and herbs but still suffer chronic anxiety.
My question is: Do you know of any good practitioners who specialise in treating anxiety in NSW Australia? (Particularly in the Sydney, Wollongong, Nowra area.)
Kind regards
Sally

I don’t have a referral in that area. I would suggest checking out MINDD.org and see if they can recommend someone.

Thank you for your very kind comments about my interviewing style – I so appreciate the feedback!

Dear Trudy,
Thank you so much for being so willing to answer all our questions. I think you realise how much anxiety is caused by being in the dark or having unanswered questions, so it is appreciated more than you know.
I asked my current practitioner to try me on GABA Calm however, she wants me to stay on Theanine Serene with Relora x 2 per day going up to 4 a day if anxiety not controlled (by Source Naturals) and possibly add the GABA calm as a top up during periods of added anxiety.
What do you think of this? I’m concerned it may be a bit too much GABA. The Theanine Serene with relora has 250mg per tablet.
Also Can I do the GABA trial with GABA calm while on Theanine Serene?
I’m starting to feel desperate after my year long search for help and have lots of pressure on me to go back on medication. I would love for my practitioner to follow your protocol.
Thank you again.
Warm regards
Sally

It’s so much easier working with one practitioner’s recommendations and we all have our favorites. I would stick with her suggestions and see how you do. You can always make some changes if that approach is not working.
And you are very welcome
Sally says
Dear Trudy
One more question. Do you have any blog posts that address hormonal imbalances?
I would value your opinion on bio identical hormone replacement therapy.
Again. Thank you.
Warm regards

This is not something I’ve blogged about but I feel there is a place for it in many instances.
Here is a blog on progesterone from Dr Tami’s book “The Hormone Secret” https://www.everywomanover29.com/blog/hormone-secret-progesterone-for-anxiety/
